One of several sister sites, the Archer Travel Leisure page’s website design goal was to invoke a feeling of sophistication and affordable luxury. While the main conversion goal was to have clients book their travel directly through the site or call an agent, their business is founded on relationships, so first and foremost, they wanted to tell their story.
Their agency was more than just a booking engine – their small business started in the 50’s, and has earned respect in the industry while making long-lasting personal relationships with their clients. On the homepage, we used a deep rich blue and a luxury gold, and a slideshow of inspirational travel photos. The visitor is able to get to what they want right away – the booking engine, but below that begins the story of the agency, and thereby showing the visitor they are in trusted hands.
